EUSAIR4YOUTH Final Conference

The project EUSAIR4YOUTH  originated from the need of stimulating the participation of youngs in EU activities by developing their understanding and awareness of the EU policy making process, with a specific focus on the European Union Strategy for Adriatic and Ionian Region (EUSAIR). Their involvement and contribution as the main drivers of the society, is the main objective of this project.

• Action 2.1 – Online intensive training course on “EUSAIR and EU opportunities”: EUSAIR Intensive training course focused on international mobility and volunteering for young people. Each lesson was an “information capsule” on the “New Europe: Eastern and South-Eastern Europe”.

• Action 2.2 – “EUSAIR academic young’s contest: How can young people (better) contribute to EUSAIR?”: The “EUSAIR ACADEMY YOUTH CONTEST” aimed at involving and stimulating the participation of undergraduate, graduate and postgraduate students in EU activities by developing their understanding and awareness of the EU policy making process, with a specific focus on EUSAIR.  

• Action 2.3 – Brussels’ week: The best 10 ideas were selected, and the winners were awarded with a money prize and they had the opportunity attend events at the 20th European Week of Regions and Cities (October 2022), formal and unconventional training at the European Commission, DG REGIO and DG NEAR, Permanent Representation of Greece to the EU, to visit the main European Istitutions.
