<description><![CDATA[The enrolment is open for the new edition of the Graduate Summer School in <b>"International Cooperation and Susteinable Development Policies"</b>, organised by the University of Bologna in collaboration with UniAdrion.<br />
The School is open to graduates and professionals; a limited number of scholarship will be offered on a competitive basis to students coming from Central and Eastern Europe.<br />

</div>The 6^th International Cooperation and Sustainable Development Policies Graduate Summer School will focus on the different dimensions <br />
(the ecological, the economic, the social and the international) of sustainable rural development taking into particular consideration the <br />
multifunctional role of agriculture.<br />

The Course has the aim to offer an overview on the different tools and policies aimed to promote sustainable rural development. The programme <br />
of the 6^th International Cooperation and Sustainable Development Policies Graduate Summer School will include also seminars on: Local <br />
Food Systems; Organic Farming Policies; Marketing Strategies for Sustainable Agricultural Products; Climate Change and Bioenergy; Biomass <br />
for Rural Development.<br />
<br />
The Graduate Summer School is open to:<br />
-        Graduate students, preferably with a background in Agricultural Economics, Agricultural Engineering, Development Studies, Economics, <br />
Environmental Sciences, European Studies, Political Science, and other relevant subjects.<br />
<br />
-        PhD and Masters Students.<br />
<br />
-        Professionals from NGOs, governmental organisations, aid organisations, research institutes; scientific and other relevant <br />
foundations.<br />
<br />
A limited number of *scholarships* will be offered on a competitive basis to students from <b>Central and South Eastern Europe</b>.<br />

<description><![CDATA[Next 5th of May the Faculty of Agriculture of then University of Bologna will host the <b>Kick-Off Meeting of the 2nd edition of Master MISS</b>, inaugurating the <b>module of frontal classes</b> of the Master. The classes will last until next summer, and will be followed by a period of traineeship of 3 months, and the presentation of a final work.<br />

 <title><![CDATA[BiomAlba Final Conference in Tirana]]></title>

<description><![CDATA[On April 27th the Final Conference of the project BiomAlba – Analysis and study of a biomass chain in Albania will be held at the Agriculture University of Tirana (Albania). The project, financed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Italy and Central European Initiative (CEI) has involved different academic, institutional and local realities of both countries: Italy and Albania.The main objective of BiomAlba, coordinated by Prof. Andrea Segrč – Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Bologna, is to support a correct sustainable development policy in the Adriatic Ionian countries, with particular reference to the aspects related to energy needs.<br />
The project was implemented thanks to the collaboration among the Department of Agricultural Economics and Engineering (Bologna), the Agriculture University of Tirana (AUT), the National Agency of Natural Resources (NANR) and the Albanian Association of Alimentary Oil that acted as external observer.<br />
<br />
At the Conference will intervene different representatives from public institutions such as the Ambassador of Italy in Albania, Saba D’Elia, the Expert for Scientific University Cooperation at the Italian Embassy, prof. Adriano Ciani, and representatives of The Albanian Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Consumer Protection and of the Ministry of Education. <br />
Researchers in the field of renewable energy coming from Serbia and Italy will present their studies, focusing on the strong regional character of the Project.<br />

 <title><![CDATA[Master MISS]]></title>

<description><![CDATA[The on-line module of Master <b><a href="http://www.uniadrion.net/miss2.php">MISS </a>- Sustainable Development of Agricultural and Rural Areas of the Adriatic-Ionian Basin</b> started positively yesterday, February 4th. 10 students, coming from Albania, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia (FYROM), Kosovo, Montenegro, Serbia are currently enrolled in the Master, organised by UniAdrion and the University fo Bologna - Faculty of Agriculture and sponsored by Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs - Directorate General for Development Cooperation. The module of distance learning, supplied by CELAB (University E-learing Center) through the <a href="http://www.moodle.unibo.it">Moodle</a> platform, will be developed along 3 months, until next May, when the frontal classes will start in Bologna. <br />

<description><![CDATA[UniAdrion and the University of Bologna announce the opening of the call for the second edition of the Second Level Master "MISS - Master in Sustainable Development of Agricultural and Rural Areas of the Adriatic-Ionian Basin".<br />

The Master can be joined by a maximum of 20 students. For the candidates coming from <strong>Albania</strong>, <strong>Bosnia-Herzegovina</strong>, <strong>Kosovo</strong>, <strong>Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia</strong> (FYROM), <strong>Montenegro</strong> and <strong>Serbia</strong> are reserved 10 scholarships (Art. 6 Scholarship) on a competitive basis.<br />
